Emergency Lighting
Waveguide supplies, installs, tests, commissions and offers ongoing PPMs for our clients, complete with full reports and certification. Waveguide provides solutions to rectify any issues or faults that may occur by submitting a proposal to replace or repair faulty units.
We offer a full turnkey retrofit solution for any application to bring up to the lastest IS 3217: standards, complete with all as-built drawings and certification.
This ensures that an emergency lighting system will kick in when the standard supply fails, keeping your building compliant with health and safety regulations.
Emergency lighting is part of the safety provision of a building and the person in control of the non-residential premises is responsible for the safety of everyone in the building whether working, visiting or living there.
Ongoing Annual Maintenance / PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance)
We provide our clients with Detailed Initial Inspection, including a site visit that involves a full assessment of current lighting systems that have not been regularly maintained. We will develop a comprehensive plan to bring the emergency lighting up to standard, ensuring your safety and compliance.
-
Waveguide offers a full year maintenance plan, which is a legal requirement. This plan includes one annual 3-hour test, with additional visits every 3 months for a 30-minute test. With four annual visits, Waveguide ensures your emergency lights are maintained to the highest standards.
-
After each emergency lighting test, we will issue you with a detailed report outlining the condition of your emergency lighting. The report will specify any faults found and the necessary actions required to repair them. You will also receive a certificate of inspection to demonstrate your compliance with regulations.
-
In the event of any defects found, our technician will detail them in the report, outlining the specifics of the failure and the actions needed to repair it. Waveguide can also provide a quote for repairing any issues identified during the inspection.
