Waveguide Supplied, installed and commissioned full retrofit of a new standalone Emergency lighting system across 3 buildings for Google in Eastpoint - Bringing up to lastest IS 3217 standards.

Waveguide engineers completed an on-site survey for Google across 3 occupied buildings, Once the design was complete, Waveguide procured all emergency lighting components required to complete the upgrade across the 3 buildings which included new standalone emergency spots, Exits 2D's and bulkheads.

Alteration to the distribution boards by adding in new Central Test Units for compliance and ongoing maintenance checks. 

all work was completed out of hours to limit disruption as all buildings are currently fully occupied. 


As a result of the survey, Waveguide provided the client with a detailed outline of work for a new stand alone standard emergency spotlights and emergency exits with reconfiguration to current CTU. 

On aggreement with design and cost with client work began on site, which included:

Disconnecting all emergency feeds from current integrated Emergency lights, safety measure were assessed and equaluated here. 

Installing approximately 104- Standard Halo emergency spot lights and 34 standard Velos emergency exit lights for this project. 

The new installation was compliant with all new electrical standards (ET101) and the latest emergency lighting standards outlined in IS 3217:2013

After testing and commissioing a completion certificate was issued to IS 3217:2013
