Supply of LED lights for new Dublin Data Centre
Waveguide specified to supply their own Waveguide technology for 2 new data centres in Dublin.
After completing a retrofit lighting upgrade in an existing Data Centre in 2015, the client put Waveguide forward for the supply of lighting for 2 new Data Centre's.
Our design team worked in conjunction with Ethos Engineering on the new projects, showing that additional savings could be generated versus conventional LED lighting products on the market. By using our Waveguide technology, we could increase the light levels and uniformity by using fewer fittings, massively reducing costs on electrical infrastructure, and lighting controls.
Waveguide supplied Mercury Engineering who were the Electrical Contractors onsite, with 3500+ DALI LED lights across 2 Data Centre's.
For the electrical rooms and Co-lo's, Waveguide supplied its linear slimline range using various wattages to achieve precise lux levels required for each area. For the administration area, Waveguide supplied Wavestar office DALI LED luminaires which provided low glare and high-quality levels of light.
All products supplied have a lifetime of L70 to 133,000 hours
